Zach Rathburn was also nominated for Runner of the Year. Great job to these young men. They represent NPHS well this year. And out of 10 selected All-Area runners, North Port has 4 of them!
Coach Phu was named Cross Country All-Area Coach of the Year! Go Bobcats!
Please congratulate our Technology Student Association team, they won 9 medals on Saturday competing in the Space Coast Regional TSA Competition. These included first place medals by Malainey Potts for Essays on Technology and Erica Schmitt for Extemporaneous Speech. Congratulations to all 12 of the TSA members that competed and their great achievement.
There will be a FAFSA Application Open House on Wednesday, December 16 from 4-7pm. Translators will be available to help with the application process for those who need it. See. Mrs. Thiel in the Student Success Center for details.
Picture Day! This Wednesday, December 9, is Underclass Picture Retakes for grades 9, 10, and 11. In-person students please check with your English teacher for details. Remote students will come after school. All pictures will be taken in the Gym Lobby. This photo will replace photos on your school ID card and Crosspointe accounts, and will also go in the yearbook. Don’t miss it!
NPHS’ National Art Honor Society is selling holiday ornaments until December 18. They are made of ceramic and handmade by a student. The styles include snowflakes, snowmen, lights, and more. They are only $3! You can stop by room 2-118 or see any club member for one. Please support NPHS’ National Art Honor Society by purchasing one!
NPHS has available prime & non-painted parking spots. These were originally reserved for the painting fundraiser, but that ended. Please see Mrs. Skelton in athletics this week before school or during lunch. Bring your current parking “TAG” AND your school ID or license to Mrs. Skelton. Your choice!
Any student interested in taking OJT next semester needs to see Mrs. Rhoten in 5-207 by Friday, December 11th.
The Theatre Department is looking for students to be on the Tech Crew for the spring Musical, Guys and Dolls. Go to www.nphstheatre.net and click on Production Info. You will find a tech audition form as well as a rehearsal schedule. Forms are due by December 18th.
