Today is Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021.
Academic Olympic team has their first match today. Team members meet in Mr. Foust’s room-7-215 after school. Anyone interested in checking it out is free to come and observe. Good luck team!
Congratulations Girls Weightlifters, who are the new 3A Region 3 Champions. First place winners automatically qualify for States, on February 13. First place: Katarina Wilburn, Tristain Atwood, Madison Atwood, Shantay Reid. Second Place: Aubrey Jarvis, Emalee West, Kayleigh Soler. Fourth Place: Lyndea Parker, Kaylie Beaulieu
Interested in saving up to 3 lives? Come out to the NPHS SunCoast Blood Bank blood drive on February 5th from 3-7 pm at Jet’s Pizza off Sumter Blvd and donate! Blood banks are in critical need of all types of blood. You will receive free pizza and a $10 Amazon e-card!!
To make an appointment, call 1-866-97-BLOOD. Or visit www.scbb.org, choose find a mobile drive and put in the date. Students may also sign up in the cafeteria through February 4th during all lunches.

Juniors, are you interested in Johnson & Wales in Charlotte, NC? Join us Feb 3rd at 10:30AM for a virtual rep visit in the SSC.
Reminder to juniors, now is the time to start registering for the SAT and/or ACT. Stop by the SSC to get signed up.
Attention current sophomores and juniors! Are you interested in Sun Coast Technical College (STC)? If so are, make sure you log into the “guidance department-NPHS” page on Blackboard to view the PowerPoint and application requirements. Applications are available in guidance before school, during lunch, and after school only. If you have questions, please first check the guidance blackboard page. Applications are due Friday, February 12 to Ms. Rutherford in Guidance.
Interested in a career in construction? There is a paid Student Construction Internship program available this summer with the Florida Department of Transportation. Stop by the SSC for more information.
Preorder your 2021 yearbook online at www.yearbookforever.com. The price is $80. The price increases on March 1 so don’t wait! Be ready – yearbook staff will be out this week taking pictures and doing interviews!
The Co-Existence, Photography, and Best Buddies club will be meeting on Friday February 5th during 5th and 6th period lunch in Mr. Mannino’s room – 8-204. We will be reviewing how to docent for the Embracing Our Differences art walk and lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you can make it!
