Good morning Bobcats!

Today is Monday, February 8th, 2021

 

Congratulations to our lady Bobcats for their 6-2 victory on Thursday night at the district semis against Braden River. Leading our team were Sierra Spirk with four goals, Laci Nottingham and Aleena Purvis with one, and Danielle Van Deusen with an assist. The girls will play for the championship Tonight at Venice, please come to support them.

 

Academic Olympic team has a match tomorrow on Tuesday.  Team members meet in Mr. Foust’s room-7-215 after school. Anyone interested in checking in out is free to come and observe.

 

Attention current sophomores and juniors! Are you interested in Sun Coast Technical College (STC)? (If you are, make sure you log into the “guidance department-NPHS” page on Blackboard to view the PowerPoint and application requirements.) Applications are available in guidance before school, during lunch, and after school only. If you have questions, please first check the guidance blackboard page. Applications are due Friday, February 12 to Ms. Rutherford in Guidance.

 

Interested in a career in construction? There is a paid Student Construction Internship program available this summer with the Florida Department of Transportation.  Stop by the SSC for more information.

 

Cool Today Park is currently looking to fill a mascot position for the 2021 Spring Training season. The height requirements are between 5’8-6’0.  If you are interested, stop by the Student Success Center.

 

The Poetry Club will be meeting today after school in room 8-114. Come enjoy a sweet treat with creativity. All are welcome!

Baseball, Softball, Tennis, and JV Girls Soccer athletes, pick up a sports photo order form at Mrs. Skelton’s desk in athletics. Your sports picture day is this Friday 2/12. Check with your coach for details. Track, Field, and Boys Weightlifting, we’ll see you on the 24th!

 

Nick Village scored late on Tuesday lifting the Academic Olympic team past Suncoast Poly-tech. The team has its next match on Tuesday, meeting in Mr. Foust’s room 7-215 after school. Feel free to join the team and see what it is about.
