Good Morning Bobcats! Today is Tuesday March 2 2021

Today is the Informational Session for students who are interested in Dual Enrollment at State College of Florida.  Teachers, you will find an email with the names of the students that will be attending from Ms. McKay.  Please release those students at 7:55 to go to the TEL Lab.

Attention aspiring Cheerleaders. There is a mandatory meeting for all interested in Cheer for the 2021-2022 season. The meeting is Tuesday, March 9 at 7pm. Remember that athletic paperwork must be submitted online before tryouts.

Seniors please go on to NPHS Voting Class of 2021 on Blackboard and pick your top 5 songs. These songs will be brought to administration for final approval. One of the top 5 songs will be the song that we walk off the field at graduation to.

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Track and Field team for a great performance at the Ram Invitational over the weekend.  Joseph Smith, Cameron Turnberger, Nico Rodriguez, and Nicard Labossiere earned a new school record in the 4×800 relay.


Good luck to the wrestlers going to states: Regional Champ Dominic Joyce, as well as Quinn White, Gannon Wertz, and Vincent Donatelle. State competition is this weekend. Good luck, guys!

Students, On Tuesday, March 2nd from 10AM to 4PM the Venice Walmart is hosting a job fair for prospective cashiers, stock clerks, personal shoppers, garden center associates, and more!  Additional information information can be found at www.careers.walmart.com or by attending the job fair.


Juniors, UNF will be hosting a virtual college rep visit on Wednesday March 3rd @ 10:30AM. Sign up now in NAVIANCE


Seniors on Monday March 8th at 2:30PM we are hosting an instant decision day with Florida Southwestern State College (FSW).  Apply to college for free and have an admissions decision in one day.  Sign up now in NAVIANCE


Seniors are you interested in Auto or Marine Service Technician Programs?  We are hosting during all lunches a career info-session with STC faculty and future employers.  Lunch is FREE and requires students to RSVP as spots are limited.  (attached flyer if you would like to show it)

Please congratulate our Technology Student Association Chapter for their performance in the first ever Virtual TSA State Conference.  They competed in 18 different competitions last week taking top 10 finishes in 9 events.  Special thanks to the officer team for their help and coordination of the competition, Erica Schmitt, Tracy Liu, Isabel Paynter, Evan Bertis-Sample, Scarlett Schaffner and Malainey Potts, and congratulations to all of the TSA members for their hard work and dedication, and we will cheer them on for the National Competition in June.
