As Spirit Week comes to an end, tomorrow is Bobcat Pride Day. Wear NPHS apparel, navy, silver, Carolina blue, and white.

Remember, dress code is still in effect. Paint, bandanas, and costume masks are not allowed. If you’re not sure, ask any staff member. Most importantly, have a great time!

Please join us on Saturday, May 8^th from 7-10 pm at the Venice Community Center for our STARRY NIGHT SENIOR FORMAL This event will include mocktails, a catered dinner, dessert, music and raffle drawings.

To purchase a ticket from Mrs. Thomas BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL ONLY you will need:

• Exactly $65 cash, a check or credit/debit card
• Signed contract is available at the front desk, in room 4-113 or on blackboard
• Don’t forget your student ID

In order to attend

• All fees must be paid
• You must have at least a 2.0 GPA
• No more than 15 unexcused absences
• Guests are not permitted.

• Masks are required.
• Temperature check is required prior to entry into event.

Seniors, you can also submit photos for the Senior Slide show, now through April 30. You, family, and friends can use the Access Code SENIORS on yearbookforever.com to submit as many photos as you want.

Looking for a new job? Did you know Mrs. Thiel in the Student Success Center has information about local businesses that are hiring? She can even help you to create your resume and apply.  The featured business of the week is McDonald’s! Stop by the SSC and make an appointment during your lunch period.

On April 23, will be the GSLEN Day of Silence sponsored by True Colors. This silence is to support members of the LGBTQ+ community who cannot speak up for themselves. Due to bullying, harassment, and other forms of abuse, this day honors them.  Members of our students and staff such as Mrs. Wood have always gone silent to observe this in the past. But this year, along with Bobcat Pride True Colors members and allies will show our Rainbow Pride to observe Day of Silence.

Senior members of National Honor Society have until Monday, May 3rd to place orders for graduation goodies. Please visit either the school store or see Ms. Williamson in person. Each member will receive a free National Honor Society tassel, but the order form must be submitted prior to Monday May 3.
