The senior cap and gown pickup event will be taking place after school today from 2:30 – 4:15. Listed below are the locations for the pickup of items. Students are NOT required to go to the cap and gown line first. You can go to the gym first and get cords, yearbook and other items and then pick up your cap and gown at the PAC lobby. Enter the PAC through the side doors.
Check with any teacher to determine whether you owe fines or fees. Seniors that owe fees will need to go to the Gym first to see Mrs. Jorge in order to get their cap & gown.
For seniors that are participating in the AICE dinner, the cap/gown and yearbook will be handed out at the dinner with AICE stoles. However, you may have other cords or items to pick up between 2:30-4:15.
Seniors, this is the last week to complete the district required final transcript survey. Completion of this form is required by the district in order to graduate. We are currently only at 274 completed surveys. The link to complete the form can be found through your senior English teacher or by contacting Mr. Thomas is Guidance. The last day for HERO Raffle entries (10 points each) is this Friday.
Athletes, free swim clinics will be taking place Monday, Wednesday, and Friday next week at the North Port Aquatic Center from 3:30 to 5 pm. Experienced and beginner swimmers are welcome.

Poetry Club meets Tuesday May 25th after school in room 8-114, Ms. Kennedy’s room. Come for a sweet treat and some creativity.
Underclassmen, Don’t forget to vote for your class and student body representatives for next year. Voting is on your class blackboard page and will be open until Monday 5/24.

Yearbook Pickup Information for Underclassmen, both Remote and On-Campus:
2021 Yearbook pickup for underclassmen begins Friday May 21. For on-campus students, will be in the Guidance Conference room behind the SSC during lunches on May 21, 24, and 25. For remote students, we will be at the PAC Parking lot on May 25 from 4-5 p.m. The 2021 book may be purchased online at www.yearbookforever.com. If you missed out on last year’s yearbook, the 2020 book may be purchased for $40 cash or check (made out to NPHS) when you pick up your 2021 book.
Books ordered for remote students may be picked up in the front office during school hours starting June 3.
Class of 2021!
All fines and fees owed to the school must be paid before seniors can receive tickets for graduation, pick up your cap & gown, or pick up your diploma. This includes school-owned laptops and textbooks which must be returned.
Senior Exams, including English and Econ/Gov LEOC Exams, will begin on May 24. Seniors will NOT have an altered bell schedule for exams. Please plan to attend all classes during this week. Tuesday, June 1 is a makeup day for seniors. Seniors will come to school on June 1 only if you have a makeup exam to complete.
Thursday May 27 at 7:00pm is Senior Awards Night, which is by invitation only. Please check with Mr. Thomas in Guidance or your club/group advisor if you think you should be attending.
Wednesday June 2 is Graduation Practice here at NPHS.
Seniors with last names L through Z, your practice is at 8 a.m. Seniors with last names A through K as well as AICE Diploma Candidates, speakers and performers, your practice is at 10 a.m.
You do not need to bring your cap & gown to practice. Students will receive their 4 graduation tickets at the end of graduation practice. June 2 practice is required if you are walking in graduation on June 3. Please let Mrs. Fusco know ASAP if you do not plan to attend the graduation ceremony.
Thursday June 3 is Graduation. Class of 2021 students must park in the PAC parking lot and then report to the outdoor basketball court (next to Building 5) at 6:30pm for instructions. The ceremony starts at 7:30pm at the football field.
