Yearbooks may be picked up in Ms. Lord’s room 7-209 during all lunches this week. We still have books available for sale. The current 2021 book, “Together We Are One” costs $90 with cash, check or online order at www.yearbookforever.com. If you get a 2021 book you can also get the 2020 book “Extraordinary” for just $40.

 

Class of 2022, registration for senior portrait sessions is now open. Register on www.cady.com/book. Our first NPHS session is on July 21. We also have a detailed tutorial available at nphsbobcats.net to help you register for the session you want.

 

Students who are interested in applying for membership to next year’s National Honor Society may find the application on Blackboard under Ms. Williamson’s National Honor Society class. Applications are not due until next September. Membership is based on not only academic success, but also character, leadership, school activities, and community involvement. Read the application to see if you qualify to join this prestigious group.

 

Congratulations to the NPHS Athletes of the Year: Aleena Purvis for Soccer, and the boys 4×800 Relay Team of Zach Rathburn, Nicard Labossiere, Cameron Turnberger, and Joseph Smith

 

Congratulations also to North Port Prints students Norvell Robinson, Eli Lear, and Garrett Plummer for earning $2400 in college scholarships through the North Port Prints program. Great job guys!

 

Auditions for the fall play, “Puffs” will be held the first week back in August. You may find the subject matter familiar. An orphan finds out that he has mystical powers, gets invited to a school of magic and magic, and gets sorted into the “Puffs.” Then, adventures follow. We are excited for you to see this show and hope you will come out and audition in August, or at least come and see our play, October 1, 2, and 3.

 

Attention NPHS underclassmen, June 4th is 4th/5th period exams.  People with 4th lunch will only have testing 5th period from 10:15-11:55. People with 5th and 6th lunch will test 4th period from 9:45-11:25.. June 8th is 2nd and 6th period testing.  2nd period testing is from 8:13-9:53. There will be no 3rd period class on June 8th. People who have 4th and 5th lunch will test 6th period 11:21-12:51. People with 6th lunch will be testing 5th period from 10:41-12:51. On Wednesday, June 9th, will be 1st and 7th testing, and will be a half day. 1st period testing will be from 7:30-9:10, and 7th period testing will be from 9:15-10:55. Thursday, June 10th, will be 3rd and 8th testing, and will also be a half day.  3rd period testing will be from 7:30-9:10 and 8th period testing will be from 9:15-10:55. Buses for these half days will leave at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 11th is for make-up exams only if needed with no buses provided on June 11th.
