On Thursday 3/24/22 the true colors club went over next year’s officer requirements and explained how next meeting on the 21st   they are electing the official officers for next year. One member Zoey Varga(‘24) is running to the president of next year and she hopes the club can, “encourage people and let them know that who they love or what they identify as doesn’t define them of who they are. I hope to be able to go to more events to get more publicity for the club”. The club also decorated a card for the Grandmothers Club as a thank you for the $100 donation. True Colors uses the money to buy supplies for crafts and some snacks for the meetings. Club members organized spirit beads, taking charge of selling them during lunch periods to earn money for the club so they can provide more crafts at events outside of school such as plays, block party, and spin night. The teacher a head of the club, Ms. Lord and the members discussed how they can attend more events, get newer members as most of the members are graduating this year including president and vice president, Kass Snapp and Grace Williams. The club meets every 3rd Thursday right after school till around 3:15 in room 7-209.
