Poetry Club has been postponed to next Tuesday December 7. Still in Ms. Kennedy’s room 8-114. 

 

On Friday there will be a Blood Drive here on campus. Sign up during your lunch today. 

 

This week’s club meetings: 

K-Pop Club meets on Thursday in room 5-101.  

If you need to work on your test scores, SAT and ACT Prep meets on Thursdays in 8-204. 

FCA meets on Friday during lunches in the TEL Studio. Pizza is provided for club participants only. 

 

The Academic Olympics participated in the district wide pre-season event on Nov. 30th at Suncoast Polytech.  The regular season begins January 11.  To see how the team works and learn more see Mr. Foust in room 7-215 (include graphic for AO) 

 

There is a football weightlifting meeting on Friday December 3 in the weight room. There’s also a spring football meeting on Monday December 6 in the weight room. See Coach Belser.

 

For the month of December, HOSA is hosting a Sock Drive for the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. You can help by stopping by room 5-102 to drop off an unopened package of socks until the 16th of December. Any size will do and make sure to put your first period teacher’s name and room number on a sticky note attached to the bag. The top selling class will get a donut breakfast provided by HOSA on December 17th 

 

Key club is collecting toys for a toy drive. There will be 2 boxes in each building. Please have all toys in by December 14th.

Jostens will be on campus during all lunches taking orders for cap and gowns.  This is the ONLY day they will be available before the price increase.  Order your cap and gown BEFORE December 31 to avoid a late fee.  ALL seniors participating in graduation will need a cap and gown unit.  Included in this is the tassel, medallion, and diploma cover.   

  

Also for seniors, there is a Grad Bash Info sheet on Blackboard.  Before you ask any questions read through the ENTIRE document, the answer is probably in there! 

  

Grad Bash permission forms will be available on blackboard starting December 6.  Tickets go on sale January 18 and end February 10 or when they sell out.  There are a limited number of tickets available.  You must have money and paperwork completed to purchase a ticket.
