Good Morning Bobcats! Today is Friday, December 10, 2021 


Today is Friday and today’s PRIDE rhyme is about Excellence. Exams are coming up and you may feel like you’ll go belly-up! But do not fret and have no sweat. John has a rhyme to inspire and save the time. 

Friday – Don’t study and you’ll find you have arrogance. Study and you’ll be rewarded with Excellence! 


Retakes for the ALGEBRA 1 FSA End of Course Exam, a graduation requirement, begin Monday December 13. If you are not sure whether this affects you, please ask your teacher now! All teachers have the list of testing dates and locations.

School Drives!!

 The Grinch will be showing in the PAC on December 21 at 11:30am. Cost is 2 food items for the food drive OR $2. 


For the month of December, HOSA is hosting a Sock Drive for the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. You can help by stopping by room 5-102 to drop off an unopened package of socks until the 16th of December. Any size will do and make sure to put your first period teacher’s name and room number on a sticky note attached to the bag. The top selling class will get a donut breakfast provided by HOSA on December 17th 


Key club is collecting toys for a toy drive. There will be 2 boxes in each building. Please have all toys in by December 14th.

Ms. Stringer, Ms. Mckelvy, Ms.Backstrom, Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Thomas, Ms. Hunt, Ms. Foust, Ms. Hamer  


The Coexistence Club Food Drive continues as well. Donations may be dropped off at Mr. Mannino’s room 8-204. We will deliver donations before Christmas. 


You can buy a unique, handmade ceramic holiday ornament for just $3. See Ms. DuBois in room 2-118 or any member of National Art Honor Society. Ornaments will be on sale through December 17. Proceeds go to the Memory Project. You can also request your own custom design for $5. 



Baseball season is coming soon! Anyone interested in tryouts for the baseball team in January, please stop by Coach Mayer’s room 7-108 for details. All paperwork must be submitted on Athletic Clearance before Tryouts. 


 After School!

DFY CATCH will be meeting at 645 AM on Tuesday in room 5216. Use center gate to be admitted on campus.
