You can vote for spots like cutest staff couple, most intimidating vocabulary, most likely to smile in the hallway, and many more. Scan the QR to vote. Voting closes September 16 at 2:15.

     ASVAB testing will take place on 4 October at 0800 in the PAC. Please see Mr. Coulson in the Student Success Center for sign ups.

     Coach C and Mr. Mannino’s Tornado Thursday group got slightly bigger last week! They welcomed a few more students from Mrs. Chavarria and Mrs. Abueita’s classes! They also got some help from administration! Enjoy these highlights and let your teacher know if you would like to join in to send Mr. Mannino or Coach C a message! 

SPORTS:

• The Volleyball Program is having a spirit night fundraiser at the Chipotle in North Port on 9/20/22 from 5pm-9pm! Mention NPHS Volleyball at check out to help support our program!

• There will be an informational meeting for Girls’ Soccer on Friday September 16th after school, room 7-207 (Sra. Duque). Please make sure you have your athletic packet before joining any activity, see Mrs. Skelton if you have any questions about clearance to participate. 
• The Cross Country team has their big HOME invitational coming up soon! This year we will be having a 2 day meet, with Friday afternoon and Saturday morning meets 9/16-9/17. This is a huge point of pride for Bobcat Cross Country since it is the largest on-campus meet in Florida.  We are expecting 80+ Schools with around 2000 athletes competing. If you are looking for volunteer hours, we could use your help. Contact Coach Phu in room 7-106 for details.
  • The hours of the meet are:
    • Friday September 16 from 4pm-7pm
    • Saturday September 17 6:30am-11:30am 

CLUBS:

• Key Club will be held today after school for all current members. Meeting is at 2:30pm in room 5-105.
