FCA is Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting that engages students to have a understanding of Christ and relating to themselves. This meeting has fun activities and guest speakers and eat a slice of pizza provided for lunch. FCA happens every Friday during each lunch period. When entering the room, you are greeted by the members of this club. On arriving, you need to show your FCA lanyard or permission slip. On Friday September 16th, 2022, we had a guest speaker from New Day Church, Pastor Billy. 

Pastor Billy talks about losing something and would go above and beyond to find that meaningful thing. Jesus gets hate for being around sinful people instead of being around the perfect. He then went to look for his lost sleep (people) that then were found, so he celebrated. Jesus has thousands of people to watch and finds a way to come help that one person that truly needs help. We need to keep an eye out for people that know Jesus and the good he provides. Pray for, look out for the ones who need to find God.  

Anyone can join FCA all that is needed a permission slip from Kembel and Edwards. Shirts are still available, the Instagram page has reminders, updates, etc. Blare Garvis, a sophomore at NPHS is a member of FCA, “I am a leader in FCA because I believe that this group can spark a change in this school and it’s a great thing to hand out some free pizza and speak life into students.” Being a leader can show others to be involved and help others and their communities.
