Seniors, keep your eyes peeled during lunch for the Jostens table. They will be taking orders for your Cap & Gown and other graduation items. Remember, you must purchase a cap & gown package to participate in graduation in May. Don’t wait. Email Mrs. Sheilah Thomas if you have questions about senior items.
Approval for work hours to count towards the Bright Futures Scholarship is now ready! Students must first register for approval of their work or Community service site. Once students register and receive email approval, they may log back into their accounts and print their work or community service hour log sheets.
- Please remember that work hours cannot be combined with service hours, they must be submitted separately.
- If students need any help with registering or printing, they may stop by the Student Success Center.

Need help in math class? Studying for an upcoming test or the FSA retake? Math Lab is now open in the media center after school for students needing help in algebra 1, 2, and geometry. Math lab will be every Monday and Thursday after school at 2:30 until 3:30. Ask your math teacher for details and we will see you there.
SPORTS:
- Congratulations to our athletes traveling to state competition in Tallahassee this coming weekend.
- Freshman Malia Hambrick represents Girls Cross Country after her school record of 18:29 at the meet over the weekend.
- Senior Evan Crane represents Boys Cross Country with another school record this week.
- Senior Michael Kent represents our swim team after the boys competed in the Regionals this past weekend. Michael Kent secured a 3rd place finish in the 200 Individual Medley and a 2nd place finish in the 100 yd Breaststroke, both breaking his own school records and assuring him 2nd and 3rd seeding at this weekend’s State Championship.
- Great job athletes and good luck at states!
- Anyone interested in playing Boys or Girls tennis this year for the school needs to attend an informational meeting after school Wednesday November 2nd in Coach Noonan’s room 5-202A. There is no experience needed just a desire to learn the game and compete. If you are interested but cannot make it please stop by Coach W’s room in 7-115 so we know your interest.
- Winter Cheer Tryouts! Athletics paperwork must be completed prior to tryouts. Email Coach Drachler with questions.
CLUBS:
- The Key Boutique is in room 5-105 if you need a dress or accessories for Homecoming. The Boutique will be in 5-105 after school each day. Contact Mrs. Pomerleau or a Key Club member for information.
- Get Chipotle for dinner on Tuesday, November 2 and support our TSA students on their journey to the state competition. Use the order code RFN69ZN for online orders.
- Academic Olympics is starting up again, meeting on Tuesdays after school in Mr Foust’s room, 7-215. Please join us on Nov. 1 for our first meeting for a game of “Trivial Pursuit. See Mr. Foust for information.
- If you received a Unity-Day nomination form from your teacher or Mr. Mannino, please be sure to have that nomination form signed and brought back to Mr. Mannino in his room, 8-204, or that the forms are placed in Mr. Mannino’s box in the front office by Friday, 4 November 2022. This will ensure that we have enough pizza and goodies for all participants. This will be a great event so get those forms returned to Mr. Mannino ASAP!
