Teachers, don’t forget to continue giving HERO points to students that are showing the PRIDE expectations, such as being on time. Remember the teachers that participate in the HERO program will be rewarded with prizes themselves.
Mrs. Popity is at lunch on Fridays for HERO redemption; be sure you have your school ID so you can redeem your points.
Attention all students,
Monday through Thursday, you can attend tutoring from 2:30 to 3:30PM
- Math Lab continues in the media center on Monday and Thursday for Algebra 1 and 2 and Geometry. If you need help with Pre-Calculus, come to room 4-211 & 4-212 on Wednesdays
- ACT/SAT English will be on Thursdays in room 8-205
- ACT/SAT Math and science will be in room 5-216 on Thursdays
- CTE tutoring is in 1-213 or 5-202 B on Mondays
Supervised study hall will still be every Monday-Thursday in the media center after school
CLUBS:
The Thespian Troupe offers their annual holiday gift wrapping, December 21 and 22 from noon to 3pm. Drive up to the student drop off in the staff parking lot for help. Small presents are $1 and large presents are $3. Every 5th present free!

NPHS’ National Art Honor Society has their annual holiday ornament fundraiser till December 20th. The ceramic ornaments are just $3! There’s snowmen, snowflakes, deer, and more. Come see Ms. DuBois in room 2-118 or see an art club member for yours.
North Port Prints has 5 different holiday postcard designs for sale. One postcard costs $2 or you can get 5 for $8. Email [email protected] or use the QR code to order.
FFEA will be taking Candygram orders in the Breezeway by the Cafeteria during all lunches from Now until Friday December 16. Send a winter, holiday, or exam message to your Best Friend, secret crush, favorite staff member, or even yourself! Candy cane grams will cost $1 and oreo grams will go for $2. All grams will be delivered last period on Friday, December 16! (You can also place your orders in room 5-202B with Mrs. Grundtisch). Thanks for your support and enjoy your grams!
TSA has NPHS-logo-engraved stainless steel tumblers. See an officer or Mr. Jakoby in 4-107.
Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 7th, HOSA will be hosting a sock drive. This will run from Dec. 7th to the 16th. Socks are one of the top items needed by homeless shelters. Donating to this drive will help the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition provide these necessary items for the homeless. You will get hero points for donating socks. Any socks donated need to be dropped off in Mrs. Backstrom’s room, 5102.
Pack the PAC is back this year, sponsored by SGA, stay tuned for more information as we get closer to this fun event!
National Honor Society for Dance Arts will be selling Stress Balls to help you get through exams! See any member or Mrs. Nelson for information.
Join SGA for Pack the Pack to watch Home Alone. Doors open at 11am for the movie. You must have a signed permission form – get one in the office. Admission is $2 but it’s free if you wear a festive holiday hat! Concessions are available for sale as well. See you there!
SENIORS:
Seniors, please order your Cap & Gown before we leave for Christmas Break. The price will increase on January 1st, and you need a Cap & Gown anyway, so order it now! Use the QR code or find all the information on the Senior Class Blackboard Page. You cannot walk in graduation on May 20 unless you have purchased a Cap & Gown.
Seniors! See you at senior sunrise on Thursday at 6:55am. Seniors only! Wear your red senior shirt and join us for drinks and donuts.
