Football players, Coach Belser reminds you that the deadline to join the spring team is Tuesday, January 17. If you are interested in playing football this spring, please stop by the weight room after school to get all of the information you need from any coach. 

CLUB NEWS 

The National Art Honor Society is accepting new members for the spring semester. All grades can now apply! Pick up an application from Ms. DuBois in room 2-118 and turn in completed applications by Wed., January 18th. 

ACADEMICS NEWS 

If you like to smell good, or know someone who does, buy some soap and support the Sophomore Class SGA. They are having a fundraiser at Buff City Soap on Monday from 1-7pm. 

North Port Theatre Department is presenting the play “A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol” on Friday and Saturday @ 7:00pm and on Sunday @ 3:00pm. You can purchase tickets at the box office an hour before the shows. Or you can buy them by scanning this QR code. 

The prices are: 

• Adults – $8.00 
• Students – $5.00 
• Under 6 is free 

On Thursday, January 19th Sarasota Memorial Hospital will be in the Student Success Center during lunch hours to discuss career opportunities in the healthcare system. Please feel free to stop in for a visit and talk to their representative about your career goal.

Orders are due by next Friday, January 20th. This is a hard deadline—if you snooze, you lose! The apparel will be delivered to school. 

SENIORS NEWS 

Seniors! Don’t miss these important senior year deadlines:  

1. Grad Bash forms for student who purchased a silver bundle are due by FRIDAY, 1/27.  Turn in forms to Mrs. Thomas 4-113, or Ms. Sims/Mr. Thomas in guidance. No forms, no attendance, even if you paid for it.

2.Order your cap and gown ASAP – price increase is soon…  

3.Already have a cap and gown?  Order a tassel, medallion and diploma cover – forms in 4-113 (this cannot be done online) 

4.Grad Bash forms/payment if you did not purchase a ticket through the bundle – deadline is January 27.  Buy your ticket before or after school in 4-113.
