Attention!  You are invited to join the Class of 2024 at our Pizza for a Cause on February 7th at Bocca Lupo!  The Class of 2024 will receive a part of the proceeds from this event.  We’d love your support! 

     Attention current 10th and 11th graders: STC (Suncoast Technical College) applications for the 23-24 school year deadline is this upcoming Friday, February 3rd.  Applications are due to Ms. McDougall in guidance room 1-128.  Applications given after Feb. 3 will not be accepted and students will have to go through STC directly. 

     Current high school juniors and seniors can now open their application for admission to the United States Military Academy at West Point for the Class of 2024 entering the academy in late June/early July, 2024 at: https://www.usma.edu/admissions/apply-now.  

     Anyone interested in becoming a marine mechanic for Chris Craft boats in Sarasota, please see Mr. Coulson in the Student Success Center for more information on this high demand, accelerated program opportunity as soon as possible.

• Tuesday Feb. 14- UTI (Universal Technical Institute) in Orlando is here! their rep will be here during lunches 
• Tuesday Feb. 15- SCF will be here to help with applications  
• Friday Feb. 17th – SCF Performing Arts rep will be here to discuss all of their performing arts programs and auditions 

     There will be a Dual Enrollment (SCF) Information Session on Tuesday, February 7th during second period in the Tel Lab room 4102. Any student interested in attending SCF while in high school and has an unweighted 3.0 GPA, please sign up by asking your teacher for the QR code. 

     This February, celebrate your Valentine, Galentine, Broentine, or maybe just someone who deserves a cookie. Starting Tuesday January 30 during all lunches, you can buy Chick Fil A Cookie Grams for $3. Your cookie grams will be delivered on Valentine’s Day by our Student Government! 

CLUB NEWS: 

• Speech and debate club will meet this Friday after school in 8-114 to prepare for the virtual meet/competition in March.
