Current 9th and 10th graders interested in auditioning for any of our VPA programs for next year, please be sure to fill out your application right away. Scan the QR code to access all of the information and plan to attend auditions on Saturday, April 1 from 10am-noon for all programs except dance – dance auditions are 5pm to 7pm. VPA programs are for students interested in pursuing serious study and even a career in one of our arts disciplines. See Mrs. Slay if you have specific questions.

    Do YOU need to take the ACT or SAT? Are you confused by the process? Mrs. Deal is here to help! She is in room 8-205 and every Wednesday and Thursday, she’s here after school until 3:30pm to help YOU sign up for your ACT and SAT tests. 

     Tutoring is also available to help you get where you want to go! 

     Seniors! SGA students will collect the Elementary School Cap & Gown Walkthrough permission slips on Monday (March 27th) and Tuesday (March 28th) during period 4. You must fill out the interest form and have your permission slip ready in order to participate. 

CLUB NEWS: 

     This Saturday, March 25th, FCA invites you to join us for Fields of Faith. Our football stadium doors will open at 5:30, with the event kicking off at 6pm.  

     We’ll have games, music, free food, and a faith-based message shared by Steve Avery, former Pittsburgh Steeler. This is open to the whole community and all ages. So bring your friends and family for Fellowship of Christian Athletes Fields of Faith, this Saturday at 6pm!

     There is still time to join Gaming Club. Come by Room 4-209 on Thursdays and 2:30 and check us out. 

     North Port TSA will be holding a spirit night at the nearby McDonalds at the corner of Sumter and Price. Show up Wednesday between 5-7 to show your support and help TSA members go to National competition in Kentucky this summer. 

SENIOR NEWS: 

    Florida Southwestern State College, (Ft Myers) will be here from 8 am – 1 pm on Wednesday March 22 in the Student Success Center. Seniors with a 2.0 or higher and their Social Security number can apply and receive an acceptance decision in the same day! Please register with Mrs. Halbert in the Success Center to attend. 

     AICE SENIORS, If you are planning on bringing any guests to the AICE senior banquet, please purchase your guest tickets on the school store BEFORE NOON ON FRIDAY. At the end of the school day on Friday the price will be raised by $5 per ticket, so get yours now!! Also, ALL AICE seniors, make sure you fill out the AICE senior survey using the QR code that was on your banquet invitation, whether you are attending the AICE banquet or not.
