Last Night, September 17, was Senior Night for the Football team, JROTC, Cheer, and Marching band/Color guard. It was also supposed to be the varsity football team’s first home game. Things did not go as planned, and there was no game. The football team’s seniors were presented at 6:20 pm, before the planned game.

After the seniors walked down the field, the game was cancelled. After much confusion from fans, it was discovered that the referees had been cancelled. Though they were not able to play, the game was able to be rescheduled for Monday, September 21.

Even though the game was cancelled, the Marching Band and Color Guard performed the first movement of their show, Together Again. After they performed, the rest of the Senior Night walk went on as planned. Starting with the JROTC, then continuing with Cheer and Marching Band/Color Guard, all the seniors got their chance to shine. Though the game was not able to go on, the Senior Night was still a success.
