- Good morning Bobcats. Today is Monday, September 28, 2020.
- Seniors, feel free to scan the QR code on the screen to join the class of 2021 group on the Band app
- Cap and gowns need to be ordered by next Friday (online at www.jostens.com) You should have received all the info in their econ/gov class, however if you take that class online, check the BAND app or the Guidance Blackboard page.
- Senior Bundle sales have been opened up until the end of the month. This will be the ONLY opportunity to purchase senior apparel and the panoramic picture
- Bundle sales and Senior Ad sales have been extended to Wednesday, September 30. This is your last chance to obtain the bundle-exclusive T-Shirt, Hoodie, and Panoramic Photo. Order your bundle through the NPHS website. Go to Resources, then find “Student Store (Online Payments)” under “Popular Parent + Student Links.”
- Thiel in the Student Success Center has posted a new scholarship opportunity in Naviance. Make sure to check regularly. Remember what Mr. Thomas says, if you apply for 0 scholarships, you earn 0 money.
- Seniors can also submit Senior Superlative category ideas to the Voting Blackboard page starting Wednesday September 30.
- Seniors: This is extremely important information for our seniors who have not yet passed the FSA- a graduation requirement.Your student will have TWO opportunities coming soon to sit for this test. Without a passing score, your student will not be eligible for graduation.
Next Week the Writing portion of the FSA will be given on Tuesday the 29th and Friday the 2nd. The reading portion well be Oct 19-22nd. This is for On campus students only.
Remote learners will receive instructions for FSA testing in November.
On Oct 14, the SAT will be given on campus for only this group of seniors who have not yet passed the FSA. This will be on campus AND remote students.
Extended time can be had on this test because it is given only for the purpose of getting a concordant score for the FSA.
ANY remote learner receiving this message for Oct 14 needs to report to the NPHS lobby at 7:30 am to check in for this assessment as it cannot be given remotely.
- Auditions for “A Christmas Carol” will be Wednesday, Sept. 30, Thursday Oct. 1 and Friday Oct. 2, from 2:30-4:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center. Go to nphstheatre.net, click on auditions and fill in forms prior to Wednesday.
- If you have paid for a parking permit and have not yet picked it up, please see Mrs. Skelton in Athletics today. Parking Permits remain on sale, so stop by athletics and pick up your application. Remember more than one parking violation is too many.
- If you are not purchasing a Silver Senior Bundle, all students can Pre-order your 2021 Yearbook online at yearbookforever.com. The price is $60.
- If you are interested in joining Student Government this year, make sure to go onto Blackboard and submit the application. The application can be found under your NPHS class voting class under SGA application and is due Oct. 2nd.
- Just a reminder that ALL National Honor Society applications must be submitted by end of day NEXT Friday, October 2nd. If you are planning on submitting an application, do not delay. Teacher recommendations are required, and no one likes a last minute request to complete a recommendation.
- The CoExistence club will have its first meeting TODAY after school from 2:30 – 3:30 in room 8-204.
- Photography club will have its first meeting Wednesday, the 30th, from 2:30 – 3:30 in room 8-204.
- From now through the end of December, all students may receive free breakfast and lunch from the school cafeteria.
