  • The FFEA (Florida Future Educators of America) club will have our first meeting of the school year, tomorrow after school in room 5-114 at 2:20.  All learners are invited to attend.  For remote learners, please find the zoom link in the Blackboard course “FFEA 20-21” under Mrs. Grundtisch
  • Seniors, learn about different types of financial aid at our VIRTUAL FINANCIAL AID NIGHT on October 1 and an all-Spanish webinar on October 8. Virtual financial aid night featuring special guests from State College of Florida. Learn about FAFSA, Bright Futures Scholarships and Local and National Scholarships.   • Seniors, feel free to scan the QR code on the screen to join the class of 2021 group on the Band app
  • Cap and gowns need to be ordered by next Friday (online at www.jostens.com) You should have received all the info in their econ/gov class, however if you take that class online, check the BAND app or the Guidance Blackboard page.
  • Bundle sales and Senior Ad sales have been extended through Tomorrow. This is your last chance to obtain the bundle-exclusive T-Shirt, Hoodie, and Panoramic Photo. Order your bundle through the NPHS website. Go to Resources, then find “Student Store (Online Payments)” under “Popular Parent + Student Links.”
  • Thiel in the Student Success Center has posted a new scholarship opportunity in Naviance. Make sure to check regularly. Remember what Mr. Thomas says, if you apply for 0 scholarships, you earn 0 money.
  • Seniors can also submit Senior Superlative category ideas to the Voting Blackboard page starting tomorrow.
  • Seniors:  This Week the Writing portion of the FSA will be given Friday the 2nd. The reading portion well be Oct 19-22nd. This is for On campus students only.

Remote learners will receive instructions for FSA testing in November.

On Oct 14, the SAT will be given on campus for only this group of seniors who have not yet passed the FSA. This will be on campus AND remote students.

  • Auditions for “A Christmas Carol” will be Wednesday, Sept. 30, Thursday Oct. 1 and Friday Oct. 2, from 2:30-4:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center. Go to nphstheatre.net, click on auditions and fill in forms prior to auditioning
  • If you are not purchasing a Silver Senior Bundle, all students can Pre-order your 2021 Yearbook online at yearbookforever.com. The price is $60.
  • If you are interested in joining Student Government this year, make sure to go onto Blackboard and submit the application. The application can be found under your NPHS class voting class under SGA application and is due Friday, Oct. 2nd.
  • Just a reminder that ALL National Honor Society applications must be submitted by end of day THIS Friday, October 2nd.  If you are planning on submitting an application, do not delay. Teacher recommendations are required, and no one likes a last minute request to complete a recommendation.
  • Photography club will have its first meeting tomorrow, the 30th, from 2:30 – 3:30 in room 8-204
  • From now through the end of December, all students may receive free breakfast and lunch from the school cafeteria.
