- Good morning Bobcats. Today is Thursday, October 15th 2020
- Any students interested in earning volunteer hours, there will be a cross country meet at North Port this Saturday. If you are interested, please see Coach Phu in 7-106 or Coach Reed in 8-206
- The North Port High School ASVAB Career Exploration Test is on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.The ASVAB can be used for military entrance, but it is also an excellent diagnostic of career and technical capabilities. The test is free and open to all students in grades 10, 11, &12. Students who wish to take the ASVAB Test need to see Dr. Obi, this week in the Student Success Center.
- NPHS’ National Art Honor Society is now accepting new members. Any 10ththrough 12th graders interested in art are welcome to apply. Please email Ms. DuBois for an online application or please see Ms. DuBois for a paper application in room 2-118. Application is due by on October 21st @ 2:30
- Would you like to learn more about photography in a non-competitive space where you could make some new friends and have fun? Then, photography club is the right place for you! We are a place for photographers of all levels to share ideas, have fun, provide a place to exhibit work and participate in community and school events. We meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month in room 8-204 from 2:30-3:30. Come have fun with the photography club!
- Come out and support the NPHS Theatre Dept this Saturday 4pm to 8pm at the North Port Chipotle. Come enjoy some delicious burritos and let them know you are there to support NPHS Theatre or Thespians and we will get a % of the sale.
- Seniors, appointments are now available for Senior Portrait Sessions on November 3, here at North Port High School. Schedule at cady.com/book. This is the final date for sessions here at North Port High School. The sitting fee is $30. Choose only the “Yearbook” and “Brick” backgrounds if you want your session to be here at North Port High School.
- The Co-existence club focuses on initiating, planning and being positive wherever we are. We meet from 2:30-3:30 the second and fourth Monday of every month where you will meet people, become more involved in school and your community as well as eat pizza. This month, we will meet on the 26th in room 8-204. Please see Mr. Mannino for details.
- Today is White Cane Day at North Port High School. Thanks to 10th grader Kyah Palmisano for teaching us about this special event.
