Trick-or-Treat?
Events to have fun and stay safe with friends and family this Halloween!
October 29, 2020

This year, trick or treating may be difficult due to COVID. Trick or treating is something kids love to do everywhere. Thankfully, in North Port, many events are going on this Halloween for people of all ages! Here are some events going on in our community this Halloween!
The first event is Hijacked Halloween. This will take place on Halloween at the American Legion, 6648 Taneytown St., North Port Estates from 3-6 p.m. It is a drive-thru trunk or treat event, so it will be COVID friendly. Children also get to vote on what they thought the best decorated trunk is. Additionally, they will have a haunted drive thru! It is not recommended for younger children.
The next event is Tommy’s Express Tunnel of Terror. This will take place at Tommy’s Express at 1411 Front Place, from 7-10:30 p.m. from October 29-31. Families will receive a spooky car wash experience! It is $20 but, you get a month of Tommy club which includes unlimited car washes for a month!
Another event going on in our community is a Curbside Trick-or-Treat event at the Lowes on October 29 at 5601 Tuscola Boulevard. Families can safely drive through and trick or treat! Children will also receive a kid-sized pumpkin.
The city of North Port has always had amazing Halloween events for families. All these events are ensuring families stay safe this Halloween while having fun! Make sure to stay safe and practice social distancing! Have fun and happy Halloween!
